Could directing more resources toward treatment improve patient outcomes?
Behavioral Health Advertising & Care Study
The study examines this question alongside how people find care, what providers spend to reach them, and how those costs influence resources available for treatment.
Questions the study will address
- How do people find and choose a treatment provider?
- What do providers spend on advertising and referrals?
- How do those costs influence resources available for treatment?
- Could directing more resources toward treatment improve patient outcomes?
The research design will define the measures needed to answer these questions and distinguish meaningful improvements from assumptions.
How participants will contribute
Patients can share their experience of finding treatment. Providers and lead generators can contribute insight into costs, referrals, and the decisions behind them.
Researchers will help turn those contributions into a study design, with methods and measures that address both the search for care and treatment outcomes.
Who will conduct the research
Rehab.ai is recruiting researchers to develop and conduct the study, with contributions from patients, treatment providers, and lead generators.
The research team and methods will be outlined as the study takes shape.
Taking part
Participation is voluntary. An introduction does not commit anyone to sharing data or affect directory placement.
Sharing the findings
The aim is to publish findings that patients, providers, and lead generators can use to improve how people find and receive care.
Results will be shared alongside the methods and limitations, including findings that challenge the study’s initial assumptions.
Funded by Rehab.ai. The study is in development; findings have not been published. Consent, data protections, and any required ethics review will be addressed before data collection.
